It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Mzee Barnabas Onyango Oluoch after a long illness bravely borne.
He passed on November 2, 2023 at a private Hospital in Busia and his body is lying at Francis Funeral Home in Busia until he is laid to rest at his home in Uranga village, Masiro Kathieno in East Ugenya on December 2, 2023.
He is survived by his two wives, Mama Kelesedhia Apondi and Mama Margaret Aketch and his children Connie Orende of New York, Dr Juliana Ogolla of Maryland, the late Eric Abur, the late Patrick Onyango, Marita Onyangoof New York, and Paul Jaboda Onyango, also of New York.
He was father-in-law of Evans Ogolla of Timonium, MD, Joyce Abur of Maryland, Lizzie Onyango(K), Brigadier George Okumu of KDF and Sharon Jaboda of New York. He was blessed with 11 grandchildren and on great-grandson.
