It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce
the death of Colonel (Rtd) Wilson Martin Obuya which occurred on 7th
April, 2022 after a long period of illness.
Son of the late Mr. Martin Obuya Opiyo and the late Herina
Ochienge Obuya. Beloved husband of Anne Adhiambo Obuya. Loving father if Edwin
Omondi, Lewis Onyango, Late Dinoh Odhiambo, Loise Apiyo, Maj. John Odongo,
Kevin Ramogi and Tony Otieno. Brother of Samuel Akama, Michael Oluoch &
Moses Odhiambo. Brother-in-law of Peres, Rose and Everlyn. Father-in-law of
Brenda Nyambu. Grandfather of Marcos, Jasmine, Lisa, Jayden, Remy and Janis.
Uncle, cousin and friend to many.
Family and friends meet daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at his homes
in Tanga Village, Uyoma and at Riara Rd, Nairobi. Financial support is welcome and may be channeled via mpesa paybill

There will be a memorial service at the Umash Funeral Home
Chapel, Nairobi on 21st April, 2022 from 10:00 hrs. Thereafter, the
cortege departs for its final resting place at home in Uyoma, Siaya County on
22nd April, 2022.
The burial ceremony will take place on Saturday, 23rd April, 2022.
