It is with profound grief that we announce the death of Mrs.
Edith Wanjira Mugweru which occurred on 2nd May 2022 after a short
illness.
She was the beloved wife of Mr. Joseph Mwaniki Mugweru and
loving mother to Mwai Mugweru, the late Jackson Maina, Daniel Murimi, Peter
Mutugi, Andrew Kinyua, Anne Nyawira, Margaret Muthomi, George Miano, Loise
Wambui, Nimrod Mwangi and Catherine Wairimu. She was the caring mother-in-law
to the late Naomi Murimi, Lucy Mutugi, Pauline Kinyua and Muthomi Njuki.
She was daughter of the late Warui and late Margaret Warui.
She was a sister to the late Peter Mwangi Warui, the late Nahashon Miano Warui,
the late Stephen Magondu Warui and Gladys Wanjiru Karani.
She was the proud grandmother to Wanjira Murimi, Wairimu
Murimi, Tracy Mutugi, Angela Mutugi, Wanjira Kinyua, Eric Kinyua, Chris Kinyua,
Brian Muthomi, Brenda Muthomi, Bruce Muthomi and a great grandmother to Megan
Gitari.
Family and friends are meeting at 4:00pm daily at the family
home in Kirinyaga County.
The funeral service will take place at 11:00am on Tuesday 10th
May, 2022 at the ACK St Luke’s Church in Kiaragana, Kirinyaga County. Burial
will be held thereafter at the family home in Njoga Village.
