It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved brother Andrew L. Owiti.
After a life of music and adventure, he went to be with the Lord on April 14, 2022 in Manhattan, New York.
He was son of the late Hon. Horace Ongili Owiti and Mrs. Ernestina Agola Owiti. The late Andrew was the father of Mislia Owiti.
He was brother of Roseanne Owiti- Holm, Eva Owiti-Taylor, Sarah Owiti, Maryanne Owiti and Monica Owiti-Correa; nephew of the late Maurice Owino, Isabella Nyaure, Benta Orwa, Richard Ondego, Benedict Odongo, Joseph Opondo, Peter Damian Ochieng’, Martha Sibondo of Gem Ukaya, Catherine Omeno of Gem Uriri and Mary Auma Okul of Kibigori Kabar; uncle to Horace D. Owiti, Claire Owiti, Kofi Holm, and Elijah & Naomi Correa; and brother-in-law to Reggie Holm, Chris Taylor and Steven-Correa.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at St. Austin Parish (St. Mary’s School), Nairobi and at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 12 in Mahunda, Gem.
