It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we accept the sad demise of Ex. Senior Chief Daniel Nyayiera Ojinga, who passed on at Nightingale Milimani, Kisumu on September 28, 2022.
He served for many years as the chief of Rusinga Island, Mbita, in Homa Bay County.
Chief Dan Nyayiera was the husband of Esther Nyayiera of Texas and Monica Akinyi Nyayiera.
He was the son of the late Mzee Robert Ojinga and Mama Claris Adero Ojinga of Gunda Village, Kaswanga, Rusinga Island.
He leaves behind several children and grandchildren.
The body will leave Kisumu on Thursday, October 20, 2022 for burial at his Gunda, Kaswanga home on Friday, October 21, 2022.
