The Ogunda family is deeply saddened to announce the death of their beloved mother, Mama Selina Ogunda of Kamgere Village in Rusinga Island, which occurred on May 6, 2022 at the Kenyatta Hospital in Nairobi.
Mama Selina was the wife of the late Mzee Aloyce Ogunda of Rusinga.
She was the mother of Dalmas Miwo Ogunda, Tabitha Ogunda and Thadayo Ogunda, all of Pennsylvania, USA. She was the mother-in-law of Shirley Miwo, Nancy Ogunda and Elisha Kondiek.
Mama Selina was the grandmother of Adero Miwo, Aloyce Miwo, Odette Ondiek, Logan Ondiek, Andrew Ogunda, Josia Ogunda and Thadeus Ogunda, and great-grandmother of Cheche, Yuka, Keziah and Syre.
Burial arrangements are underway.
