WANYAMA VILLAGE, Migori – It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing on of Mzee Daniel Odongo Gumba which occurred at Tabaka Mission Hospital on 13/03/2022.
He was son of the late Gumba Anyach and late Marcella Oyia.
He was the husband of Dinna Akoth and Damaris Mboya.
He was the father of Jackson Kagumba of Got-Kachola Secondary School, Ronald Odongo of Ranen Primary School, Dr. Moses Kagumba of TUK, Jael Adhiambo, Kenneth Ochieng’, Eunice Atieno of Milimani Primary School – Migori, Elizabeth Anyango, Susan Atieno and Paul Odongo.
He was the loving grandfather of Esther, Emmaculate, Jim, Ruth, Vallery, Gloria, Liz, Viola, Ishmael, Joseph, Wenwa, Trevor, Ruby, Mitchell, Verna, Barack, Fidel, Junior, Sherry, Sebastian, Everline, Sharon, Steve, Brighton, Kerry, Joylin, Anyango, Damaris, Alphur, Raphur, Shallom, Jesse and Patience. Great-grandfather to Jayden
He was brother of the late Miruka Gumba, Harisson Otieno and Margaret Anyach..
He was father-in-law of Jackline, Everline, Celline, Winnie, Magdaline, Millicent, Jack, Walter, among others
The cortège left Tabaka Mission Hospital Mortuary on Sunday 3rd April 2022, for his rural home. Burial was on 4th April 2022, at his farm, Wanyama-village East Sakwa Location, Awendo Sub-County, Migori County.
