We are saddened to announce the sudden and untimely death of Peter Onyango Okinda of Gunda Village, Kaswanga, Rusinga Central Location in Suba District, Homa Bay County on September 14, 2022.
The late Peter Onyango Okinda was the husband of Beryl Anyango, and the father of Luiza Awuor, Razel Kelly, Brandly Hazel and Malia Skalet.
Peter Onyango was the son of the late Mzee Henry Okinda and Mama Theudora Memba Okinda.
He was a stepson of Mama Jenifer Okinda, Regina Okinda, Jane Okinda and Mama Dorcus Okinda (NyarKagua).
He was a brother of Nicholas Ochieng Okinda of Texas, USA, Helen Ogweno, the later Moses Ongoto Okinda, Daniel Odira, Javan Odhiambo, George Okinda, Gerson Owino Okinda, the later Nancy, Keri, Luka, Kennedy Onyango, Owuor, Misa, Minyafu, Sam, Omondi, Chief Semekia and Amisi, among other siblings.
He was a brother-in-law to Janet Ochieng , Filgona Ongoto, Jane Odira, Eunice Robert, Elika Amisi, Pamela Misa among others.
He was a cousin, uncle and friend to many.
The body is currently at Kirindo Med Center in Mbita.
The cortège will leave Kirindo Med Center on Wednesday, September 28 for funeral service and burial at his home in Gunda Village on Thursday, September 29, 2022.
