The family of the later Joel Nkunya Gitirika humbly accepts
God’s will and wishes to announce the passing on of our beloved Joel Nkunya
Gitirika on 28th April, 2022 at The Nairobi West Hospital.
He was son of the late Ezekiel Gitirikia and Marium
Ciobaikiyu. Brother to the late Sarah Mukima and her husband Kalothi, Priscilla
Kaimuri and her husband Ikiao Kireru, the late Joseph Kabarau and his wife
Janerose Nalitu and Julius Kaberenge and his wife Kendi.
Senior Joel Nkunya Gitirika was the beloved husband to
Marisella Rukunga, loving dad to Jackie Kinya Mugwe and her husband Mwereria,
Eric Muriithi, Felista Kawira, Kefa Murangiri and Allan Mutembei. Senior was a
delight administrator, friend, leader, mentor, guardian, father and
grandfather.
The funeral service will be held at Nchuui Primary School Grounds,
Meru on Saturday, 7th May, 2022. Thereafter, Senior will be laid to
rest at his home in Karongwe Village, Muthara, Meru.
Friends, family and well-wishers may join us for prayers and
burial arrangements daily at Mamlaka Hill Chapel and our home Karongwe.
