Mama Mary Migot Owinyo
We are saddened to announce the sudden death of Mama Mary Migot
Owinyo in a tragic motorcycle accident on November 20, 2024.
The late Mama Mary Migot Owinyo was the mother of Pamela Okoth
of Poughkeepsie, New York, Grace Ogolla, Arina Owinyo, Dishon Owinyo, Gladys
Okoth, Ochieng Owinyo and the late Abigail Owinyo.
Mama Mary Migot Owinyo is also survived by many grandchildren
including David Okoth and Teresa Okoth, both of Poughkeepsie, New York, Cavin
Gaga Okoth, Godfrey Okoth, Stephen Okoth, Rehema Okoth, Winnie Okoth, Jarvis
Okoth and Derick Okoth.
The late Mama Mary is also survived by many great-grandchildren, including Edgar, Emma, Liam, Evan, Skylar, Elliot, Evelyn, Ashton, all of
Poughkeepsie, New York.
Funeral arrangements are ongoing.
The body will be transported from Jarmogi Oginga Odinga Teaching
and Referral Hospital mortuary on December 18, 2024 for overnight candlelight
prayers and service at her home in Yimbo, Bondo Sub-County.
The burial service is scheduled for December 19, 2024 at Got
Matar Village, Siaya County.
