The Catholic Archdiocese of Nyeri and the family regrets the
sudden demise of Rev. Fr. Abraham Ngumba Murage who went to be with the Lord at
the dawn of Saturday, 30/4/2022 while undergoing treatment at Mater
Hospital-Nairobi.
The late Re .Fr. Abraham Ngumba is the son to the late Major
Peter Murage and Mrs. Esther Wanjiru Murage (of Lamuria Sub-Location, Gataragwa
Location-Nyeri County).
He was a brother to Rev. Fr. Benard Gicheru Murage
(Assistant Parish Priest-Tetu), Salome Wairimu Murage and Florence Njeri.
He was a step son to Salome Akinyi, step-brother to Rose
Wanja Murage, John Ogutu Murage and Mary Muthiri. He was an uncle and friend to
many.
At the time of his demise, the Rev. Fr. Abraham Ngumba
Murage was working as an Assistant Parish Priest of St. Michael Catholic Parish
Chaka.
Masses are being held daily at his parent’s home in Lamuria,
Kiawara and St. Michael Chaka Catholic Parish beginning at 3:30pm. There will
be a vigil mass on Wednesday, 4/5/2022 at St. Michael Chaka Catholic Parish
beginning at 2:30pm.
The cortege leaves St. Michael Funeral Home on Thursday,
5/5/2022 for burial mass at Mathari Pastoral ground beginning at 10: 00am and
burial thereafter at Mathari Clergy Cemetery.
