Mzee Stephen Yide Odwori
We are saddened to announce the demise
of Mzee Stephen Yide Odwori, retired lecturer at Kenya Institute
Mass Communications School and a former teacher at Sawagongo High School.
Mzee Yide was from Bwaliro Village, Butula
Sub-county, Busia County.
He was son of the late Silferio Odwori and the late Clare Auma, and the husband of the late Beledina Imbaya Yide and Martha Omuliebi Yide.
He was loving father of Edmund Muyodi, principal of Bunyala Model Secondary School, Evaline Yide Agunda (Banker /
Entrepreneur), Lilian Yide of Makunga Secondary, Emily Yide (business
lady), Eng. Silferio Yide, James Yide of 4G Capital, Maj. Paul Yide of
Kenya Army and businessman Steve Kay Anyona.
The late Yide Odwori was brother of Hilda Lwali, the
late Melenia, the late Ligouri, the late Paul, and the late Lucia.
He was father In-law of Dr. Moses Agunda,
Carolyn Shikanda, George Odhiambo and Benedetta Okwera. He was grandfather
of Jacinta, Emmanuel, Jeremy, Peter, Joy, Joshua, Elsie, Bilha,
PaulMark, Adrian, Jace, Andrea and Grace.
The burial Mass and Ceremony on Saturday,
December 7, 2024 from 9 a.m. at his family home in Bwaliro
Village.
