We regret to announce the passing on of Absalom Samson Muyoyo Gangla on May 30, 2025, at Avenue Hospital in Kisumu.
He was son of the late Samson Gangla Luballo and Dora Awiti Gangla of Hathala village, Ugunja Sub-County, Siaya County.
Absalom Muyoyo Gangla was the husband of Isabella Muyoyo, and
the father of Jacob Muyoyo, John Gangla, William Luballo, Samson Gangla, Mary
Muyoyo, Isaiah Gangla, Dorah Muyoyo, and the late Ruth Anyango.
He was father-in-law of John Agan, Miriam, Beryl, Eunice,
Risper, Benta, Gordon Ondolo and the late William Okumu, brother of Chrispine
Ondire, Grace Ondinyo, Patricia Akong'o, James Gangla and the late Susana
Anyango, the late Ezekiel Gangla and the late Leah.
The late Absalom Muyoyo Gangla was a cousin of Jacob Majiwa,
Col. James Ouda, Mark Omulo and Sgt Felix Oduor.
He was son-in-law of the late Japheth and Wilkister Ojing of
Seme, a brother-in-law of Enos, Benson, Jaote, Kepha, and the late Zephaniah,
William and Henry.
He was an uncle of Samson, Lilian, Jeff, Michael Ondire, Fred
Ondinyo, Ochieng Leo and Jennifer Ondinyo, and grandfather of Faith, Kenneth,
Wendy, Fiona, Jayden, Tiffany, Tamara, lan, Debby, Frank, Elsie, Isabella,
Ruth, Melissa, Hope, Ethan, Brian, Tracy, Wayne, Ferdinand, Gavin, Esther,
Letty, Eddy, Terry, Dorah, Bella, Vero, Phillip, Absalom & Mary Joyce.
Absalom Muyoyo Gangla was great-grandfather of Hope, Benjamin,
Ruth, lyanna, Albert and Mary.
Absalom Muyoyo Gangla will be buried on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at his Ogambo Farm Home in Hathala village of Got Osimbo Sub-location, Ugunja, Siaya County.
