The Ogindo family regrets to announce the untimely death of Richard W. Ogindo of Highland Falls, New York, USA on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, in New York.
The late Richard Ogindo was son of
the late Walter and late Margaret Ogindo of Kamser Nyagowa, Homa Bay County, Kenya.
The late Richard was loving husband to Pamela Ogindo, father of Walter and
Megan Ogindo, both of Highland Falls, New York.
He was brother to Tom Ogindo of
Peekskill, New York, Mary Munda, Salesa Munda of Delaware, Ephrahim Obell
of Kamser Nyagowa, and Jane Akinyi Onyango of Kenya.
The late Richard was uncle to Nancy
Famby, Lavender, Tom Ogindo Jr, Chelsea, Beryl, Briana, Olgah, Christine,Walter
Munda, Sharon, Hailey and many more.
Friends and family are meeting at
the residence of the late Richard Ogindo in Highland Falls, New York. The family
is asking for your prayers and support during this difficult time.
Funeral arrangements are ongoing.
Tentative burial date is October 3, 2025, Kamser, Karachuonyo in Homa Bay
County.
A memorial service will be held on September
27, 2025, in Peekskill, in New York.
