Eng Graca Mitchelle Ouma Adipo
It is with profound
sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Graca Mitchell Ouma Adipo in Phoenix, Arizona, USA on January 20, 2025.
Graca came to the
United States as an international scholar in the Mastercard Foundation Scholars
Program at Arizona State University. After completing her degree, she moved to
Texas and, in 2023, relocated to Phoenix with her husband, Michael Wairungi, as
she was preparing to pursue her master’s degree.
Michelle was the
daughter of the late Eng Joshua Adipo and Jenipher Agumba of Oriang
Village, Kendu Bay.
She was sister of Dr.
Bill Clinton Ouma, and niece of Dr. Samuel Okumu, Daniel Obongo, Mary Awuor, Doreen
Adipo, Ben Adipo, Monica Adipo, Lameck Adipo, Mike Adipo, Maureen Agumba, Joyce
Owenga, Grace Oketch, Molly Agumba, Ken Agumba, the late Harvey and Dr. Ogonji
Agumba.
Mass and viewing is scheduled
at 11 a.m. on February 26, 2025 at Lee Funeral Home.
The funeral procession
leaves Lee Funeral Home on February 27. Burial will be on February 28, 2025
at Oriang Village, Kendu Bay in Homa Bay County.
