Mzee Enos Obado
It’s with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Mzee Enos Obado of Karachuonyo, Kanyaluo-Omboga, Rachuonyo District, Homa Bay County.
Mzee Enos Obado passed the morning of Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey, USA after a long illness bravely born.
Mzee Enos Otado was the husband of the late Florence Obado, and father of Fred Obado, Dennis Obado, the late Victoria Akinyi Obado and Julie Obado, all of New Jersey, USA. Mzee Enos also leaves behind five grandchildren.
Mzee Enos Otado was uncle of Benta Obado, and brother of Ouma Obado of Trenton, New Jersey.
He was brother in-law of Moses and Jennifer Omieri, the late Dr. Mika Mitoko Omieri, Joe Akumu, Mr. Henry Ouma, Mr. Richard Ogindo, Mr. Tom Ogindo, Mary Munda, and Martin Ouko, all of Tru-State area, USA.
A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, March 29 at Anderson Funeral Home in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
Mzee Enos Obado will be interred at his ancestral home in Kanyaluo-Omboga, Kendu Bay in Kenya on Friday, April 11, 2025.
Friends and family continue to meet daily at 410 Brookside Ln, Hillsborough, New Jersey for prayers and funeral arrangements.
