Jane Mary Akinyi Ouka
Jane Mary Akinyi Ouka, born September 30th, 1943, was called home by our Lord on March 18th, 2025, in Atlanta, Georgia.
Jane, 81 was the widow
of Frederick Ogweno Ouka, who preceded her in 2006 after 55 years of
marriage.
Jane was the mother of the late Tracy and Peter Ouka, and is survived by her three children, Lilian
Nebiu, John-Mark, and Kristina Beitzel.
She was the daughter
of the late Mark and Rispah Ombaka of Ulumbi, Yala and was the eldest of her
siblings Agoro, Akoth, Damaris, Rose, Wycliffe, Ooko and Mudhune.
She was the aunt of numerous nephews and nieces, mother-in-law of Akili and Paul and the grandmother of Jai, Oki, Elijah, Kairo and Zuri.
Jane will be buried in the family home alongside her husband in Ngodhe, Homa Bay County.
The family is seeking prayers and financial support to honor Jane's final wishes to be buried in Kenya.
