Mama Mary Okuthe was the
daughter of the late Mzee Oketch Jowi and Damar Akoth, stepdaughter of Mirriam
Oketch, all of Gendia, Karachuonyo.
She was the beloved wife
of the late Elly Okuthe Asumo of Kanyangasi Village, Central Kabuoch, Ndhiwa in
Homa Bay County.
She was mother of Doris,
Walter, Fred, Milton, Grace, the late Jackson, Daniel and Amos Okuthe.
She was stepmother of Meshack,
Nelson, Kanyadudi, Elisha, David, Joe and Charles Ogola.
She was mother-in-law of
Anne, Julia, Florence Ogola Okuthe, Elsa, and Charity, Opiyo Binge and the late
Juma Ochoo.
She was step-mother-in-law
of Jane, Brenda, Judith, Molving, Millie, Winnie, Rachel and Susan.
She was sister of Esther
and Philip Oketch, and late Rosalia, Anjugu, Olela, Njoga, Ondaa, Angir, Gori
and Osano.
She was shemeji of
Stephen Osodo, the late Cosmas Nyadudi, John Otieno and Richard Aran.
She was Nyawana of the late
Aloice Ogola and Caroline Auma of Gem, Kanyadet, Wagai among others.
The late Mama Mary Okuthe
was grandmother of David Omondi, Maxwell, Lillian, Elly, Osano, Justus,
Wycliffe, Denis, Linda, Brenda, Deborah, Mary, Trizah, Trevor, Favor, and
Blessin.
She was also grandmother
of Merrilyn, Elliott, Maryanne, Malia, Aviana, Achie, Omondi, Hesbon, Arafat,
Adero, Wendy, Betty, Winston, Kevin and Evans.
Burial will be on Friday,
April 4,2025 at Kanyangasi Village, Central Kabuoch, Ndhiwa in Homa Bay County.
