announce the sudden promotion to glort of Hon. Amb. Patrick ‘Paddy’ Cornel
Ahenda, Kenya Ambassador to the state of Qataron 4th April, 2022.
He was beloved son to the late John Ezekiel Ahenda and Mama
Petronala Njara Ahenda. He was the step-son to Mama Romoma Ahenda.
Loving husband to Mildred Akinyi Ahenda of US Embassy,
Nairobi. Father to Dr. John, Petty, Janet and Brian Ahenda. He was
father-in-law to Gerald Kibugi, Rachel Asoka and Brittney Ahenda.
Loving grandfather to Kyle, Hawi, Hera, Giovanni and Harlow.
Brother to Mama Anna Abiero Okello, Gabriel Ochanji Ahenda, the late Lawrence
Ahenda, Celestine Otiende, Christine Ochola, Alloys Ahenda, Elizabeth Awuor,
Lucas Ahenda, Michael Ahenda and Mathew Ahenda. Son-in-law to the late Silas
Obungu and Mama Julia Obungu.
Brother-in-law to the late Ainea Obungu, the late Charles
Obungu, Jairus, Nelson, Jane, Editor, the late Violet, Susan, Jacinta, Lumumba,
and Stephen Chiama. The late Elizaphan, Elias, Moses, William, the late Simon,
Teresa, Norah, Ladona, Elizabeth, and Jane.
Uncle to Tom, Jane, Zadock, Erick, Evelyn, Mark, Josephine,

There will be a fundraising event on Tuesday, 12th
April 2022 at All Saints Cathedral (Room; St. James & Andrew) from 5pm – 8pm.
A memorial service in hour of the late Amb. Paddy Ahenda will be held at the
Holy Family Basilica on Wednesday, 13th April 2022 at 2pm.
The cortege will leave for his home in Kabondo on 17th
April 2022. A final funeral service will be held at Nyasore Primary School
grounds on Monday, 18th April 2022 and thereafter family and friends
will proceed to his home for interment.
