LUMENA DA COSTA-GOMES
It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will
that we announce the demise of Lumena Da Costa-Gomes who was the beloved wife
to John Gomes, loving Mother to Neil and Audrey Dacosta, doting Nana to Ryan
and Troy.
She was daughter to Antonio and Maria Braganza, sister to
the Late Rui/Zita Braganza, Serita/Alfred Oliveira, late Oscar Braganza, Gemma,
Orlando/Betty Braganza and Veronica Bruno D’souza.
Lumena spent most of her life in Eldoret, where she taught
at Hill School for many years.
She was an
inspiring teacher, lively aunt and dear friend who will be greatly missed by
many.
The funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, 17th
May, 2022, at the Sacred Heart Cathedral Eldoret from 11:00am, followed by a
private cremation thereafter on the same day.
