Engineer Abiud Ogot Achuodho
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing on of Eng. Abiud Ogot Achuodho, formerly of Kenya Airways, on February 4, 2025 in Nairobi.
He was the loving husband of Jane Ogot, and the father of
Yuri Ogot, Brian Ogot and Yellen Ogot
The late Abiud Ogot was son of the late Eliakim Achuodho and Siprina Ojuok of Gunda Village, Kaswanga, Rusinga Island.
He was son-in-law of the late Benjamin Oyaro and the late
Florence Oyaro of Uyoma, Katweng’a.
He was brother of the late Margaret Oriaso, Miriam Aduma, the
late Gor Achuodho, Juliana Opiyo, Grace Achieng, Phillida Awino, Okach Achuodho
of Social Development and Joyce Awuor.
He was nephew of the late Harrison Wadeya, the late Philemon
Misasa, Otieno Siro, Mama Amelea Wadeya, Rose Wadeya, Flora Achuodho, Adah Sungu, the late Deborah
Wadeya, the late Gor Misiani, Saulina Misasa, and the late Benson Okumu.
He was cousin of Japheth Otieno, Justus Ouma, Dennis Wadeya,
Sheila Wadeya, Joshua Wadeya, Ogweno Misasa, the late Siro Otieno, the late Dan Wadeya, the
late June Wadeya, among others.
He was uncle of Gilluck Oriaso, Olga Aduma, Merillyn Opiyo,
Shekilah Okach, Wendy Awino, Ian Odhiambo, Matel Ogaya, Jamali Onyalo, Ochieng
Onyalo, Marren Onyalo, and Kongo Onyalo.
The late Abiud Ogot was father-in-law of Jonathon Sangoro, Kahlila Shallo and Yens
Joohn.
A fundraising to offset medical bills and burial expenses will
be held on Thursday, February 13, 2025 at Professional Centre in Nairobi from 5 pm.
Burial will be on February 21, 2025 in Gunda Village, Kaswanga
in Rusinga Island, Homa Bay County.
