Elder Apollo Biem Kiaye
It’s with acceptance of God's will that we announce the transition of Elder Apollo Biem Kiaye.
He was the beloved husband of Teresa Anyango Kiaye. He was son of the late Nathaniel Kiaye Rweya and the late Loise Awuor Abayo of Nyakach Koguta.
Elder Apollo Biem Kiaye was father of Loise, Erick, Alice, Judy, Russell, and Enock. He was grandfather of Tracy, Whitney, Joy, Crystal, Lance, Sean, Jeremy, Brandon, Kelsey, William, Wayne, Carl, Chris, Terri, and Tiffany.
He was great-grandfather of Talia, and father-in-law of Dr. Paul Were, Dr. Evans Magambo, Mrs. Fatmata Sandy, Felix Kathiany, Dora Ronny, and Christine Ombaka.
He was brother of the late Margaret Awinyo, Grace Migwa, Philip Rweya, Dick, Sarah, Leonard, Millicent and Mary. Also brother of Walter, Sammy, John, Susan, Jane (all late), Enock Abayo, Yonah, and others. Beloved brother in law of Henricah, Evelyn, Nancy, Erick and others.
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at Maxwell SDA Church (Main Sanctuary), Nairobi, Kenya.
The cortege leaves for Kamagambo, Rongo, Migori County on Thursday, January 29, 2026, with a church service and night vigil at his home.
The funeral service and burial will take place on Friday, January 30, 2026, at his home near Kobado Centre in Kamagambo, Rongo, Migori County.
